Need to put together an FAQ page for your press on nail business? Well, here are a few things I think will be very important to add. When first starting your press on nail business you should assume that customers won’t know how things work so you’ll want to provide them with the best tips on how to navigate your website, shop, etc to have the best shopping experience.
There are many things that your customer could have questions about that you may be able to answer without them having to reach out to you and wait for a response. I’ve compiled a list based on things my customers have asked at one time or another. These FAQs will help put your customer at ease, and help them to be more confident in their purchase.
I recommend putting as much general info in your faqs as possible. Here are my suggestions below.

This post is about what to include in your press on nail business faqs.
RECOMMENDED PRESS ON NAIL BUSINESS FAQ
- Let them know what will come with their purchase. Also, include how many nails will come in their order as some offer 24 nails, some 10 , etc.
- Explain how they would go about selecting the correct size to order. You could even direct them to your size chart, sizing kit, etc.
- Make sure you explain how they are to apply and remove their press on nails.
- Give them tips on how long the average nails will last based on how they apply them.
- Let them know your processing time. I would also make sure to explain the difference between the processing time and the shipping time.
- Are the nails reusable? Explain how they should remove the nails in order to be able to reuse them.
- Inform them as to whether you off returns/exchanges.
- Also let them know up front if you will be allowing custom designs where they tell you what they want and you create the look for them. These take a bit more work as there is a lot of back and forth between you and the customer. You’ll want to let them know the cut off time for making changing as well. You may even change this from time to time depending on how busy you get.
- If you will be offering Ready to Ship sets, let them know how soon they will be going out as these are sets that are already completed. I would let them know that if they order a RTS set along with a custom order, the order won’t go out in the normal RTS timeframe. I would recommend they order the RTS sets separately.
- Post office issues. I would make sure to provide them with information on how to reach out to the post office to submit a claim for lost or missing packages.
- Can they request a color change for an order? How would they go about this?
- Let them know if you offer replacement nails and maybe a link to the page.
- Offer guidance on what to do if their nail size doesn’t fit the standard sizes. How do they let you know their custom sizes? Make sure they know to list them from thumb to pinky.
- Let them know if you will be shipping internationally.
- Do you allow rush orders? If so, let them know if you have a limit on how many you will ship per month.
