What You Need:
Dropper (buy a pack)
Mixing bowl
Measuring spoons
Spoon to stir
AMAZON
You will want to research the different oils beforehand to get an idea of their benefits then choose which oils you prefer. Wondering what oils are best for cuticle oil?! It really depends on your preference as they all have great benefits but Jojoba and Vitamin E seem to be among the most popular choices.
Decide which scents you want to sell as well. I would look around Etsy to see what’s selling well and choose scents that are already popular. Have fun choosing the cuticle oil pens/bottles as there is such a large variety to choose from. I recommend the lip gloss bottles with the brush but there are so many other options. They come in many different sizes, designs, and colors.
Once you have all your items let’s get started.
*The measurements below would be enough for 4 cuticle oils size 5ml. *
- Have your bowl, droppers, measuring spoons, and mixing spoon ready.
- You will want to use 10-15 drops of your chosen essential oils deciding the amount based on how strong of a smell you want.
- Now add your skin oils. I recommend choosing two different oils.
-
- Add for example sunflower oil, 3 tsp would be a good amount. This oil is very light and not only promotes moisture but also helps the skin to retain water. It provides gentle moisture protection for sensitive skin as well.
- Half a teaspoon of Vitamin E would be just enough. This will be good for its moisturizing and healing benefits for the skin.
- Mix everything together and start filling your pen/bottle using your dropper. Add fuit, flower or smiley face charms if you’d like and you’re all done!
TIP: Make sure not to fill to the neck of the bottle instead fill about a half-inch below the neck to allow room for when you insert the brush. If this part isn’t done correctly you’ll notice the plastic stopper will keep popping out so take notice of where the stopping point should be for the bottles you choose.
