When setting up a website for your press on nail business, choosing your theme is by far the most interesting part. The theme you choose is how your website will look (of course with your own pictures). The design of your website is the first thing your customers will see and it shows you as a legitimate and credible business. You can probably find WordPress themes all over the internet by doing a simple google search and I believe you can find them on Etsy as well. The company I used was 17th Avenue Designs. After searching and searching aimlessly around the internet I came across this company through one of my favorite blogger’s post.

I found their designs to be in alignment with the feminine and girly look I was going for with my press on nail business Goat Nails. I was a little nervous about it at first because I didn’t want to spend the $69 and also I had some doubts, thinking what if it proves to be a waste of money?!
Their prices ranged from $49 to $99. I decided to go ahead and invest in my business and chose the Mia theme for $69. I’m telling you it was soooo worth it! I couldn’t believe how professional the site came out. It was the best money I’ve ever spent…outside of buying my Cricut machine (that thing pays for itself, but that’s another post)! Lol
While logging into WordPress for the first time after setting up things from Part 1, you’ll be taken to a screen asking you to pick a theme.
If you decide to choose one of the 17th Avenue themes (which I highly recommend) you can follow along with their detailed theme instructions to add your theme to your WordPress site. When I say detailed, I mean very detailed and easy to follow. Also, if you happen to get stuck with anything, you can submit a ticket to get help from their team to walk you through how to get unstuck. If you have a chunk of change you pay for them to do the whole process for you. All in all, whether you choose to pay them to set up your theme for you or you put in a little time and do it yourself, either way, you’ll have a professional-looking press on nail website in no time.
