Choose a clear picture of your nails then choose animation in the form of stickers, flowers sparkles, etc. When creating your animation keep in mind the colors in your photo as you’ll want to compliment those colors. The process is pretty easy you’ll just need a bomb picture of your nails (click here for a little help with taking photos) and an Instagram account in order to follow the steps below.

Step One
Strategically photograph your nails to leave enough space to add animations.
Step Two
Open instagram
Swipe right on the screen
Select the pic icon on bottom left
Choose your photo
Then select from the options at the top of your screen.
- Select the music note icon at the top of the screen to add music if you’d like.
- Choose the icon with the three stars to add a filter.
- Select the smiley face icon to add different stickers.
- You can type specific things for instance “sparkle” in the search box to see all the icons that show some type of sparkle. It’s time consuming but you can get exactly what you’re looking for by using the search box.
- Select the squiggly lines icon to use the handwritten feature. You are able to write by dragging your finger across the screen.
- You have options at the top for different types of writing you could choose from the colors at the bottom. There is also an erase icon at the top as well.
- Choose the letter icon to type words.
At your top menu you have four options to choose from like justify left, right or center. Change the color of your wording. Choose from 9 different fonts. You can also have your word(s) fade in and out.
*Pinch your sticker image or wording to zoom in and out and make it smaller or larger.
*You can also drag the image or wording anywhere on the screen.
*To get rid of a sticker or wording just press on the image then drag down to the garbage can.
Step Three
Once you are happy with your animation save a copy to your phone by selecting the arrow pointing down. Access your photo in your phone’s gallery.
