Here are 11 Dollar Tree press on nail supplies for your press on nail business that should help you to be more efficient in your business but at a much cheaper cost.
1. Nail Organizer
Where in the world are you going to store those nails because those little baggies the seller packages them in will not work and will only slow you down. With these containers, which I believe were meant for tools, you can repurpose them to store your nails. You can label the outside with the type of nail shape they are and label the inside of each compartment with the nail size. It will get tricky because there are only 9 compartments and of course, nails come in 10 sizes but hey this was a dollar! I would suggest since some compartments are quite large, to put some sort of sturdy divider (cardboard is fine it doesn’t have to be fancy) in the middle of one of the compartments to allow two nail sizes in one compartment. I personally would divide the 8th compartment and make it for nail sizes 7 & 8. These organizers are stackable as well.
2. Organizer
If you like to sit your items out to view, this is a nice way to store your brushes, dotters, wax pencils, etc.
3. Star Shaped Glass Bowl
Not sure what to do with those cotton balls? Here’s a cute way to display things like cotton balls, cotton rounds, etc.
4. Plastic Caddies
These caddies can come in handy when you want to move to a different area than your normal work area to get some nail work done. Just throw in a few things grab your nail lamp and you’re good to go!
5. Colorful Plastic Containers
These can be used to store your gems, stones, charms, etc. I always have to go an extra step because I’m just annoying like that (LOL) so I would for instance store all charms in one color box, stones in another color, gems in another, and so on. I would even use my Cricut to go a step further and put labels on them saying what is inside. I just like to get things done in the fastest most efficient way I know at the time and if I can make it look cute! Best be sure as soon as I come across a better way I change it! So if you guys ever see something in my posts that can be done better, more efficiently, faster, prettier, etc… please don’t be afraid to let me know I would hate not knowing there is a better way to do something 🙂
6. Glass Containers
If you like having your nail supplies match or have a certain aesthetic in mind you might like these cork bottles to display your glitters, foils, etc instead of the original packaging, they come in. Take a look at some of the reviews on the website to see ideas on how others used them. You could even paint the corks a different color to better match your aesthetic.
7. Long Plastic Containers
If you like to neatly tuck things away and don’t want your brushes, wax pencils, dotting tools, etc on display, then this might work for you. You could put brushes in one, dotting tools in another, etc, and put them all away in a drawer.
8. Bubble Mailers
While I suggest buying these in bulk on Amazon, if you’re ever in a bind you can grab a few of these 9 x 6 bubble mailers to hold you over until you can get your next bulk set. Or you may want to use these while you’re in the beginning stages of your press on nail business and your still trying to figure out what you want to do. They have a few other metallic colors (11 x 8) as well.
9. Shipping Labels
If you already have a shipping label printer….Omg, you’ll definitely want to splurge on this later….then these will come in handy because you get 18 peel and stick labels for a dollar!
10. Paper Trays
These can help you keep organized while working on your current orders. I always place my receipts for the orders I haven’t worked on in this type of tray, out where I can see it so that I can see at a glance how much I need to work on that day. These could also double as backgrounds for your nail pictures!
11. Mounting Tape
This mounting tape is one of the best valued of all your press on nail supplies because other than the actual nails and polishes you will use this will constantly be used to stick your press on nails to your boxes. I’ve seen quite a few press on nail companies, including myself, in the beginning, using this white mounting tape so it’s perfectly ok to use and it’s literally the cheapest out there!
